Position-Software Engineer

Why it is open - long term initiative - bringing a tool to their enterprise platform - The tool was developed from a "shadow" IT group however they are looking to integrate into their platform

Tech Stack

• Front End - Typescript/React, Redux Saga & JavaScript within the express framework
• Redux without Saga is fine but must be willing to invest ~ 2 weeks to get up to speed with Saga
• Node & Mongo on the backend (There is a dedicated Mongo Team so that is not overtly important)
• Familiarity with best DevOps practices coupled with an Understanding of how to work with those teams
• Managing authentication with OAuth

What You'll Do:

• The Senior Software Engineer, RASQ Platforms, will be working with a highly-motivated team of software engineers and data scientists to develop and maintain RASQ platform capabilities.
• Contribute to existing codebases required for initial implementation
• Pioneers future enhancements to continually improve product, including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure enhancements
• Work in an agile, collaborate environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for our customers
• Work with relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, MongoDB), and modern frameworks including ReactJS, and Node.js

· The Experience You'll Need (Required):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 5+ years of front-end experience developing using React, Redux, Typescript and integrating with RESTful APIs written in NodeJS
• Familiarity with React hooks, including react-redux hooks and writing custom hooks is preferred.
• Knowledge of building React shared components.
• Writing test cases using Jest, Enzyme or similar framework and mocking in a Typescript environment is preferred
• Experience with redux-saga
• Familiarity with monorepository architecture is preferred. Experience working on GitHub/AzureGit, or similar versioning tools
• Mentor junior developers on building various functions and features. Collaborate with cross-functional team members and product owner to plan user-stories and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work remotely, multitask, prioritize, adapt to change, work well under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment, meet deadlines, and manage a project from start to finish
• Preferred experience working with healthcare datasets including claims, encounters, eligibility, Risk Adjustment and Quality/HEDIS measures

• Knowledge of working with MongoDB
