The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Front End Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

More importantly, we’re looking for an engineer who can display ownership and is a clear communicator who can easily work cross-functionally to give and receive critical feedback without ego or worry.

Our current stack consists of an Angular/TypeScript frontend along with a Laravel PHP backend. We are also in the process of introducing GraphQL to our API and increasing its use app-wide. We are always looking to expand our current expertise and add new skills and technologies to our wheelhouse.

You will collaborate with members of the Product, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure that the development of features and components meet our quality standards.

While development experience and efficient code contributions are a must, an ideal candidate is someone who can make a positive impact beyond our code.

Requirements

• Write clean, well-designed TypeScript code, tests, and documentation
• 3+ years expertise in frontend JS frameworks, preferably Angular
• Experience developing and consuming GraphQL queries and mutations
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• You have your finger on the pulse of current developments within the JS ecosystem
• You’re constantly driven to find elegant and pragmatic solutions

Nice To Have

• Experience creating data-heavy table-based user interfaces for fin-tech or math based products
• Experience developing, owning, or using a CI/CD deployment pipeline
• Experience with Webpack
• Experience with Node
• Experience with AWS inclusive of S3, Lambda, and other micro-services
• Experience of Basecamp’s Shape Up development methodology
