Yaka Labs is a well-funded San Francisco-based startup working in conjunction with Self-Sovereign Identity provider GlobaliD to develop a state-of-the-art ledger and wallet solution to transact in fiat, crypto, financial, and real assets. We are currently looking for a Front-End Developer with a focus in Data Visualization to work on our Risk & Analytics systems. We are a fast-paced and dynamic team with expertise in financial markets, data analytics, and crypto. We are looking for someone equally dynamic with a penchant for design and visualization to join us. This is a unique and challenging opportunity with significant upside potential.

This position is entirely remote with approximately 10% travel.

Responsibilities Develop real-time data visualizations for financial and business data sets. Maintain and enhance our internal reporting UI (Node/React). Ad hoc data analysis, report prototyping, and proof-of-concept work. Work with business partners and analytics team to determine requirements, scope out new projects, and troubleshoot UI issues.

Requirements

3+ years of work experience with the following skills are required:

Hard Skills D3, SVG, C3, or other JavaScript-based visualization libraries. Node.js, React, Redux or similar technologies. AWS, GitLab, Docker. Some Python is desirable.

Soft Skills Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly and frequently (both verbally and in writing). Ability to make independent design decisions with incomplete information.
