Get in on the ground floor of a well-funded software start-up that has a depth of leadership with industry-specific experience. In this fully remote position, you will lead mobile development to create and architect mobile applications for customer-facing DMV services. You will lead mobile development and work closely with backend engineers and product owners to develop new proprietary mobile applications and features in a competitive marketplace. We are looking for a self-motivated developer that is comfortable working in a project-based environment with utmost importance placed on easy-to-use software, customer satisfaction, deadlines, and future growth. In your role, you will work directly with the CTO to develop product roadmaps, build new features, and grow our mobile application.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead mobile development in implementing best practices and technologies
• Lead design, architecture, code reviews, roadmap construction, and product delivery
• Participate in discussion of product direction and cross-platform strategy

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in creating and implementing Flutter applications
• 3 years of professional experience leading mobile application development
• Strong professional coding experience with Dart, JavaScript, Node, and comparable languages in a mobile or front-end development capacity
• Ability to design and implement user interface solutions for a variety of end-user workflows
• Experience interacting with RESTful and/or RPC APIs from a mobile application
• Experience deploying applications across iOS and Android platforms
• Security-conscience practices in any software built
• Must be located in the United States

• An unhealthy obsession with UI/UX experience
• Experience with Golang, Java, Python, or C
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with cloud-based distributed systems on providers such as AWS
• Experience with docker or container technologies
• Experience with AWS Lambda or serverless function frameworks
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline
