Position: Application Security Developer / Test Specialist

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 Package

Location: HQ in Salt Lake, Utah, role can be remote anywhere in the US

Overview:

My client are a leading personalized medicine company dedicated to being a trusted advisor transforming patient lives worldwide with pioneering molecular diagnostics. We're hiring for a in-house penetration tester with a strong software development/application security background.

The Role

• Testing and developing security solutions for internal, cloud-based computer infrastructure and web-based applications
• Conduct Penetration Test on internal networks and cloud / web based applications
• Identity, document and manage remediation of all configuration, software and vulnerabilities
• Consulting on Secure coding practices
• Building custom tooling to enable software teams to embed security into processes
• Develop and automate baseline tests to be integrated in software releases

Nice to Have:

• Expertise with Application Security concepts
• Experience with BurpSuite, MetaSploit and similar tools
• Experience automating vulnerability tests
• Strong developer background (Python, Java, JavaScript, .Net, SQL)
• Static or Dynamic code scanning and subsequent remediation
• Common Application security controls, including WAF
