About Us

Proton.ai is revolutionizing wholesale distribution. Distributors sell nearly every physical good you come across. Key to the economy, they make up over 28% of GDP. But there’s a problem. Selling as a distributor is complicated. Distributors carry hundreds of thousands of complicated SKUs, making it impossible for distributors to know what their customers need. Proton cuts through this complexity with AI. We provide a solution that modernizes distributors' sales efforts. And in doing so, we help distributors better serve their customers.

Our company is in hyper growth mode. We’ve grown >6X YoY. Needless to say, it’s an exciting time to join the Proton.ai team.

The Role:

As our Frontend Integration Engineer, you'll be responsible for the technical integration of Proton's offering in our client's eCommerce sites. You'll learn about our clients needs, in order to scope the project and set Proton up for a successful implementation. You'll then work with the client, code, deploy and test the solution while being our client-facing ambassador for good UX practices and design. It's an exciting role with a high degree of freedom and with responsibilities that stretch into UX, design and the full lifecycle of how product recommendations are designed, placed, displayed, tracked, customized, deployed and communicated to clients.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to put together mockups, communicate requirements and set expectations for client projects.

  • Develop and integrate Proton's eCommerce offering on client's eCommerce stores.

  • Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our eCommerce deployment process and code.

  • Be our client-facing ambassador for good UX practices and design.

You'll be great fit for this role if you have:

  • Expert Frontend skills, especially with vanilla Javascript, HTML & CSS. Frameworks such as jQuery, Vue etc. will often not be available.

  • A strong handle of UX and design.

  • Knowledge (or desire to quickly learn) eCommerce-related concepts and technologies, such as product carousels, search, tracking, Google Analytics, Tag Manager etc.

  • Communication skills. You not only understand the tech, but can also articulate that knowledge in a client facing context.

Benefits

This is a full-time remote position within North America (or willing to work USA hours). Competitive salary $107k, plus equity, health benefits (we pay 99%), 401k and a generous vacation policy.

Our Hiring Process

At Proton.ai, we assess candidates using an unbiased and thoughtful process. We ask questions directly related to the work you will be doing. Resumes are optional. They are not the focus of our selection process.
