Job Description

ThreatConnect, Inc. is looking for a passionate UI leader who is skilled at driving the creative process from concept through execution. This role directs and oversees the implementation of code, policies and procedures for Front End Engineers as well as the overall User Experience. Candidates must demonstrate solid technical skills coupled with the ability to work closely with Project Management, Quality Assurance, Customer Success and Engineering Teams. In addition, successful candidates must be capable of debugging enterprise level software while resolving escalated issues arising from business operations requiring in depth coordination with other departments. .

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience developing front end software ideally large scale enterprise level web based applications


• Professional experience in web development coding, testing and documenting front end functionality


• Fluent with functional, object-­oriented languages; Typescript or JavaScript


• Strong working knowledge Frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or VueJs


• Work closely with project managers, subject matter experts and other software engineers to be an integral part of solving complex system level challenges


• Collaborate across teams to understand how our customers use our software


• Lead and manage a team of global software engineers to successfully deliver high quality products


• Excellent people management skills to collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams

       Desired Qualifications:

• In-depth understanding of development methodologies and best practices


• Comprehensive UI leading design practices for Responsive Web Design, reusable UI patterns, and intuitive navigation


• Proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes


• Work effectively as part of both small teams and larger formal groups


• Prioritize and adapt rapidly to changing business conditions


• Assess risk and use industry best practices for releasing quality software to customers


• J2EE and API driven technology stack


• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum
