About the Job

We are looking for a Shopify Developer on a contract basis that can work remotely but able to accommodate the Singapore timezone to take charge of further developing and maintaining our world-class e-commerce websites.

Being part of our Product and DevOps team, you will work on our digital projects and eCommerce websites using Shopify Plus. You will work with a team of product managers and developers located in Singapore and Indonesia. This role reports directly to the Head of Product.

*Please note this role will be a remote position and candidates must be willing to work at least 4 hours out of 8 within the range of 9am-6pm SGT*

Requirements:

• Translate requirements and design mockups into fully functioning websites using HTML/CSS/JS
• Strong experience with Bootstrap 4 or 5
• Experience with SASS/SCSS
• Experience with React
• Knowledge of Shopify and Liquid code
• Experience with Shopify API
• Writing pure Javascript code and using of jQuery
• Debugging using Chrome Dev Tools
• Testing using other browsers and mobile simulators
• Knowledge of versioning control with GIT
• Knowledge of Node.js and NPM.
• Able to report performance issues and knowledge on how to deal with.

Personal Skills:

• Continuously look for ways to improve code quality and projects
• Clearly communicate solutions to team members and both verbally and in written documentation
• Implement new digital technologies or development techniques that help to meet company goals and business objectives
• Ongoing website maintenance including functional changes to eCommerce storefronts
• Build out design comps to pixel perfect accuracy
• Inspect and troubleshoot bugs and other QA issues
• Ensure that correct technology processes are being employed and followed on your projects.
• Contribute to best practices, workflows, and standards and company knowledge sharing.
• Meet, communicate, and share knowledge regularly with all team members.
• Assist with code review, release and deployment preparation
